Mission: To protect and conserve the natural areas to enrich and engage current and future generations.
Results: Protect as owned and conservation: 856 acres.
Target demographics: the health of the community and the environment.
Geographic areas served: Land conservation in the greater Johnson County, Iowa area.
Programs: Prairie Preview environmental forum in March, spring and fall Family Days at Turkey Creek Nature Preserve and Belgum Grove, workdays and trail hikes throughout the year, Music on the Prairie with local band at Belgum Grove, geocaches on three properties - and properties are always open to the public!
