I really want to thank BuildaBridge for coming to Bethany Christian Services Resettlement Agency and giving us an inspiring training! It was a one-of-a-kind experience and I feel more comfortable and confident to help my refugee clients and myself. Thank you so so much for all your help and guidance!! We partnered with BuildaBridge this last year and were incredibly impressed. We had their artists come weekly for staff professional development. The teaching artists were all professional, engaging and thoughtful.

We had an Arts of Self Care parent/student event at my daughter's school that was a wonderful experience. For two hours the facilitators provided art experiences and space for us to learn how to use the arts for self care. The facilitators listened, validated and educated us through a process with art activities that we can easily use at home to engage in self care on a daily basis. I highly recommend BuildaBridge!

BuildaBridge International is playing a pivotal role in helping the Philadelphia Child and Family Therapy Training Center faculty apply principles from the expressive arts to the family therapy process. Families working together to generate art, music, songs, and dance profit in two ways. Children feel safe, secure, heard, connected, and appreciated. Caregivers feel calm, effective, and find delight in their time with their children.

The GEGISOM partnership enhanced programming at GEGISOM, with new perspectives , tools and strategies to deal with trauma impacted youth and families. BB offered yet another lens to give voice and expression to the many social, emotional, racial and economical injustices many of our youth and families experience.

BuildaBridge's arts-focused self-care programs are thoughtful, experiential and supported by neuroscience. As a former student and now a teaching artist, I can say BaB changed the course of my career.

BuildaBridge is a dynamic organization that takes an innovative approach to community healing and trauma recovery. Their programs are creative and engaging. They invite participants to authentically express themselves. Facilitators provide a safe and inviting space for people to connect, evolve, and grow.

BuildaBridge is a game-changing organization in Philadelphia and a vital source of support for members of the community and for other organizations. It has been a joy to partner with BuildaBridge to bring their teaching artists into the education work that we do with refugee youth and adults at HIAS Pennsylvania. We have seen newcomers to the US of all ages connect with artmaking in really special ways, thanks to the intentional and trauma-informed lessons that BuildaBridge artists design, whether the medium is movement, visual art, music, or a combination of these. Whether a participant has engaged in art before or not, BuildaBridge ensures that all participants feel safe and encouraged to express themselves creatively. It is truly beautiful to behold!

Ami and BuildaBridge are just fantastic. They care deeply about the people they serve and have incredible dedication toward finding new creative ways to do this. We had the pleasure of serving artists with them at an event recently and it was a massive success. 10/10 recommend!!

What sets BuildaBridge apart is its trauma-informed, strength-based and person-centered pedagogy of the Safe Spaces Model. As a Restorative Teaching Artist, I have had the pleasure to collaborate with the Executive Director and roster of Teaching Artists who all represent a diversity of creative disciplines but have the same commitment to fostering healing, hope, and self efficacy through the arts. This is an incredible organization equipped to affect positive change and make arts accessible for groups of all walks of life!

BuildaBridge provides life changing programs that positively impact each person it touches and has positioned itself as a leader in the field of therapeutic arts with it's annual training institute. The institute, along with other routine training sessions in Philadelphia, has helped hundreds of arts practitioners acquire necessary training to design therapeutic programs that take a holistic approach to community healing through the arts. BuildaBridge's impact must number in the hundreds of thousands as the organization has provided dedicated artists with resources and support to improve the lives of people in need across the country and globe.

BuildaBridge is a phenomenal organization with a true commitment to changing lives. I began my work with BuildaBridge in 2008 as an intern. During that time I was so impressed with the leadership and their commitment to developing a learning organization that I knew I needed to serve as a volunteer with BuildaBridge, donating my time and money to this work. Through its community and international service programs, BuildaBridge provides high level arts education to children and families in tough places throughout the world. Program evaluation is significant component of the work that BuildaBridge does, as they are always looking at the impact and efficiency of their programs. Holistic child development, speaking blessings and nurturing the creative spirit are key qualities that set BuildaBridge apart from other Non-profit organizations.
