Causes: Community Improvement & Capacity Building
Mission: Public speaking for social justice, a 10 week after school program that teaches a diverse population of high school age students how to identify social justice issues that are important to their communities; how to research those issues, how to organize their information into discreet and cogent points; and how to deliver their messages effectively in a public forum.
Programs: Successfully launched workshops and public speaking events to address the pressing issues in the community. Employed meaningful ways in which the members of the community can clearly articulate the thoughts on the social issues of their community.
