As we near the completion of this project, we are excited to see the mission of our founders realized. We are simply the current stewards for a long line of volunteers that have made this property shine. We have exciting plans to use our archived materials and hold public and private events in the house. Both your time volunteered or funds donated will be carefully and meaningfully used in this project and many to come.

Amazing work restoring this gem! She’s come a long way over the years. I love that a non-profit is taking the time to do the restorations right and not a private entity looking to “glam” it up just to turn a profit. Older houses can be beautiful without being gaudy or pretentious. This one fits that bill nicely!

My experience with the Santiam Heritage Foundation is wonderful! I've volunteered my time with the board for 9 years and the people are great. The restoration of this house is my main passion, because my family owned the house from 1949 to 1987. The people in this organization have made it easy for me to find my place HERE. If you care about beautiful, old homes, this is the place for you! And, if you don't live close enough to volunteer, please consider donating whatever you can. Every little bit makes a difference.
