I called the Homeless Helpline in September 2021 after fleeing my state from Domestic Violence from repeated and endless protection order violations. I called them and they flat out said we only help those who are sleeping daily in their cars or outside. IT IS NOW SEPTEMBER OF 2022 and I'm STILL WITHOUT A HOME FOR MY KIDS AND I . I'VE BEEN EXPLOITED LIKE YOU WOULD NOT BELIVE, MOVED SOOOO MANY TIMES AND I WORK FULL TIME AND STILL CANNOT PROVIDE WHAT I NEED. ON WAITLISTS FOR HOUSING. THE HOMELESS HELPLINE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ANYONE UNLESS THEY FEEL LIKE IT .

Hi my name is thaddeus. First let me start by saying im sure if the funders of bphi knew exactly how this place is being ran an the conditions in witch they have people and familys living, this place would be put under whole new managment and wonder where the millions of dollars in funding is going. I was order to spend a night out by an rc manager with a witness that was present when i was orderd to stay out over night till the morning, the illegaly discharged me an seperated me from my 7 month pregnant wife i been in the street and hotels since holloween of 2018. When i returned to the shelter the next morning after being instructed to spend the night out the dorm manager treated me as a dog in the street and told me infront of officers that i have been discharged for staying out over night an told me "i dont beleive any of his rc's would intruct me to spend the night out" he wouldnt let me enter to get the witness. I have video an audio of there corruption an. They subjected my wife to sexual harassment an secondly she was robbed of my belongings my wifes case manger instructed her to not worry about it, it took me to come to the shelter an place a police report mind you the officer that took the police report witnessed him say i been discharged for spending the night out. Now i called the homless help line and stressed to them the situation in return i was told by tatiana the supervisor of the homless helpline that i was discharged for criminal activity and violence" my jaw dropped when i hurd this. That defamation theres no such activity on my history or background this is information thats on the homless helpline i have proof of everything. The rc's over through there power an walk over you if u dont agree with there ways. The case manger told my wife shes going to be discharged if she brings any attention to the issue or make any complaints my wife is from london an she doesn't no how things work here and the employees of bphi are violating her human rights plus they allienated me from my family and help all from lies. Ive been treated as a dog in the street an defamation on my name from a organization thats supposed to help people. This organization threatens to put my wife in the street if she raises concerns. Someone please help me my email is forgivensinner07@gmail.com im uploading pictures below. They are endangering children an pregnant womens health an saftey none the least violating human rights. Please help !!!

For several years now I have looked forward to Thursday nights when I help serve dinners to the residents of BPHI. This is an amazing facility that gives people a hand up and lots of opportunity to help themselves into a better situation. The staff and administration are wonderful (I'm also on a Programs Committee) - residents are treated with respect and dignity. The facility itself is beautiful, clean and kept in good condition. Watch out for the kids - they will steal your heart!

My husband and I have been volunteers for Broward Partnership for the Homeless, Inc. for several years. We prepare and serve lunch every Thursday and help at major events, so we have seen many success stories. It's a blessing to see folks who had been homeless get job training, clothing, encouragemnt, and eventually move to their own place or a group home. They are always treated with dignity and respect by a really caring staff. We think that we actually gain more from the experience than the residents do!

I have been a volunteer in the Computer Lab at BPHI for two years. This has been an extremely fulfilling experience. BPHI truly values its volunteers and makes it easy for us. They listen to our ideas for improvement in our specific area, and implement them quickly. I feel the organization runs very well and is constantly evolving. BPHI trains its residents thoroughly on the facility's policies and procedures, which makes my shift go extremely smoothly. The residents have a great sense of appreciation for the volunteers, and tell us so consistently. I truly enjoy my experience with BPHI.

Great organization serving the homeless of Broward County, Florida. Very well run and nationally recognized. Admin costs are very low.
