Mission: The Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy's mission is to ensure the creation, adequate funding, proper maintenance, public support, and citizen enjoyment of Brooklyn Bridge Park through partnership with government, development of programming, and active promotion of the needs of the park and its constituents.
Programs: Public programming includes: providing opportunities for hands-on education programs focused on the brooklyn waterfront's history, habitat, and ecology; promoting civic volunteerism and caring for neighborhood green space through our education and stewardship programs; and providing free cultural and recreational activities and opportunities, and advocacy and outreach to engage and update adjacent communities, stakeholders, and government representatives in park planning and progress.
Brooklyn Bridge Park is truly one of the most spectacular parks in the world. Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy acts not as gatekeeper but rather a guardian of the Park. They provide programs that invite all New Yorkers. From "Seining: The Wild River" to "Movies with a View" and cultural performances at the Tobacco Warehouse the Conservancy's programs appeal ranges from conservative to cutting edge. Support the Park. Support the Conservancy. Enjoy the views
