Programs: Emergency assistance - we provide emergency financial assistance to individuals and families in the form of bill payment. This program will provide assistance for paying utility bills, medical bills, etc. Assistance is provided on a case-by-case basis. Individuals and families that use this service are required to attend financial planning training provided by broken wings ministries.

the thrift store - we operate a thrift store. Clothes, household items, furniture, etc. Donated by the community is sold to the general public. Funds raised are used to pay the majority of the operational expenses of broken wings. We also give away items from the thrift store to persons and families in need. Justice department work programs - we put people to work who are ordered by the court to work off fines or to provide community service. Christian womens workforce training the food ministry - we house the food ministry which is sanctioned by the mississippi food network, a faith based ministry, and we serve approximately 175 families on a monthly basis. The choctaw baptist association sponsors the food ministry. Broken wings provides the facilities for the food ministry. An average of 2 to 3 families are assisted each week on an emergency basis. Fema distribution agency - we distribute fema emergency food and shelter funds in accordance with fema's guidelines. Broken wings family christmas - we organize the adoption of needy families by churches, individuals, and other organizations. We provide funds for the adopters to purchase needed items for the adoptees at christmas. Disaster relief - we provide disaster relief services in our community in response to natural disasters (fire, tornado, etc. )
