Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Human Services, Job Training
Mission: The Brighton Support Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was established to provide additional support to the men and women who care for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. We direct our assistance to both paid and unpaid care providers and their families.
Results: We have been serving clients since 1981 and currently have close to 300 employees in a caregiving role.
Target demographics: caregivers and their families
Geographic areas served: the Thurston and Clark counties in the state of Washington
Programs: specialized training, caregiver perks, financial assistance, and discounts on food, products and services.
