Briggs and Barrett Project has been so impactful in Northeast Nebraska and is expanding into many other states as well- by providing peace of mind to families of infants, with an owlet to monitor their sleeping babies, and with BB Crashers- who "crash" Expecting Mom's baby showers, who have specifically had a loss; and with BB Kids- where the kids help to bring awareness to the project as well and spread the word but also by doing positive things in our community- these are just a few ways that we are making a positive impact.
I have seen first hand how the money donated to Briggs and Barrett Project is handled- and with donating over 70 owlets per Month, they have alot of expenses, but since inception, they foundation is very fiscally responsible, so they can impact as many lives as possible.
With only having one employee and over 30+ Key volunteers, Briggs and Barrett Project has donated over $600,000 in owlets since we first started about 5 years ago. Our community is so supportive and we have been blessed to be able to provide to families in need.
It has truly been such a pleasure volunteering for the Briggs & Barrett Project! I was able to help the project launch their BBKids program in May of 2022 and we already have over 400 kids registered. The kids love giving back and showing what they can come together and provide for their community! BBKids is a group of kids that participates in monthly community service and volunteer activities, this helping instill; appreciation, leadership skills, inspire giving, introduce life skills, build social skills and self-esteem and benefit the kids' physical health.
