Mission: Inspired by the values of caring and respect, together we guide individuals with disabilities and other challenges to achieve and enjoy their highest quality of life and personal growth.
Target demographics: Bridgewell continues to be a premier provider serving adults (ages 18+) with developmental and psychiatric disabilities, physical disabilities and those experiencing homelessness, by providing a continuum of care that includes: day habilitation, counseling, clinical care, employment training, transitional homeless services, residential services, educational programs and affordable housing.
Direct beneficiaries per year: We operate programs in 18 communities in eastern Massachusetts and serve more than 3,000 individuals and their families each year. At our meal sites for people experiencing homelessness, we provide more than 40,000 meals annually.
Programs: Developmental disabilities residential services - provides support to individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. The core purpose is assisting people to lead and direct their own lives.
developmental disabilities day services - provides education, training, and expressive therapy for individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in order to teach coping, communication and life skills.
outpatient services - provides diagnostic assessments, individual, family and group psychotherapy; medication management; psychiatric day treatment; and psychiatric emergency coordination for bridgewell and community residents.
affordable housing - the affordable housing division provides safe and affordable housing in lowell and lynn for individuals with disabilities, the homeless and individuals with a dual diagnosis. Community services - provides transportation and recreation servicesmental health day services - provides education, training and expressive therapy for individuals with psychiatric disabilities in order to teach coping, communication and life skills. Mental health residential services - provides support to individuals with psychiatric disabilities. The core purpose is assisting people to lead and direct their own lives.
