Mission: To strengthen individuals and families affected by addiction, poverty and homelessness. Bridges to change is committed to stopping the revolving door of recidivism by stressing personal accountability while providing tools, support and services necessary to help our clients maintain self-sufficient lives in the community.
Programs: The organization provides alcohol and drug free housing in 4 counties in the state of oregon: multnomah, clackamas, washington and marion. Bridges to change houses 700 clients across these counties each month. In addition, bridges to change has 40 fte certified recovery mentors who provide the case management for participants in their programs. Mentors develop a clear understanding of needs: risks, intervention, addiction and relapse prevention.
