Mission: The cocoa bridge, inc. (the organization) is a not-for-profit corporation organized to provide a work release transition program facility for criminal offenders in brevard county, florida. The organization is exempt from income tax under internal revenue code section 501(c)(3) as a public charity.
Programs: Bridges of america contracts with the florida department of corrections to provide a secure work release program for inmates. The program includes job and life-skills training, educational classes, and employment placement. Upon successful completion of the program and end-of-sentence, inmates are better prepared for re-entry into society. 245 inmates participated in the program during the year ended june 30, 2017.
