Mission: In full partnership with individuals and families facing challenges, the bridge of central massachusetts, incorporated, supports and inspires them to achieve their goals and dreams.
Programs: Developmental servicesthese programs provide residential, supported housing, home share and dialectical behavior therapy counseling services to approximately 80 adults annually. Individual needs include cognitive limitations, behavioral issues, mental health, and social challenges. Service goals include mental health stabilization, employment assistance, independent living and social skills development. Community inclusion is a primary focus. Services include a highly supportive group living environment which provides comprehensive care for 4 men and 8 women.
caring together services to children, adolescents, young adults, and familiesworcester continuum services are funded by the department of mental health, and the department of children and families, to provide an array of wraparound services to 40 youth and families. Services are designed to maintain youth within their homes, and support families as the primary caregivers. Included as service options, when necessary, is an array of short-term and long-term out of home care. The bridge operates three intensive group home residences for children and adolescents within the worcester and westborough areas. In addition to these services, the bridge has access to other local providers who provide group home, pre-independent living, intensive foster care, and respite services. The bridge also operates an array of out of home residential and community based treatment services for transition age youth and their families, funded by the department of mental health. Also included in these services is a flexible support services program which provides flexible individual, group, and family supports within the worcester and northeast suburban areas. Embedded in all of these services are specialized treatments such as dialectical behavior treatment, illness management and recovery, and cognitive restructuring for post traumatic stress disorder.

Individuals receiving services range from young adulthood through adulthood. Referred individuals present with mental health, dual diagnosis, and housing challenges. Services range from intensive residential to independent living and are based upon each individuals needs. All services are recovery oriented and incorporate peer support, within the overall service delivery model. Evidence-based practice models include dialectical behavior therapy, illness management and recovery, and cognitive restructuring for post-traumatic stress disorder.
