Bridge Lacrosse is an AWESOME organization! My son had never thought of playing lacrosse before we learned about Bridge but he is now in his sixth year. He has become a better player over the years and gained a wealth of knowledge about lacrosse. Thank you Bridge Lacrosse for all that you do!
Bridge Lacrosse has provided me with endless opportunities to explore, learn, and grow. I became a lacrosse player in 8th grade with absolutely no experience, but the coaches and teammates helped me become a better player. Regardless of the financial situation, Bridge Lacrosse has supported me and provided me with help to get equipment and help cover the national registration fees. I had the opportunity to travel to sport camps across the country where I met talented coaches, mentors, and student athletes at little expense to me. They helped me with the cost of attendance and the plane flight because they wanted to give me the chance to develop my skills. Bridge Lacrosse is not solely focused on the sport, they educate and inform everyone who is a member on health and wellness, financial literacy, healthy relationships, and college education. Bridge Lacrosse has given us the opportunity to attend yoga classes and a fitness gym to exercise, sessions about financial education, all day programs where we focus on the safety and health of relationships, and they’ve given us the opportunity to tour college campuses when some of us might not have thought that it was a reality. Bridge Lacrosse has absolutely changed my life. I love my team, my coaches, and I am eternally grateful to Bridge Lacrosse for helping me become a better person on and off the field.
Bridge Lacrosse is a wonderful organization. Not only is it teaching our children about the wonderful world of lacrosse, it is also opening their minds to all sorts of new avenues. Physical fitness, mental and emotional well being, personal responsibility, financial literacy, college futures.
Bridge Lacrosse is opening the doors to a whole new universe and I truly appreciate everything they are doing for our kids!!
I have been associated with Bridge almost since it’s inception. My two son’s now a high school junior and 1st year college students started learning the exciting game of Lacrosse when they were 2nd and 4th graders. I have seen the Bridge group grow and become better every year. My son’s have learned some great life lessons I believe from being associated with Bridge and also from competing in this group sport. I Love Bridge Lacrosse Dallas.
I volunteer with Bridge and, like many, am drawn to its unique mission to use lacrosse as a platform to teach life lessons and expand horizons. From building core values into the season to visiting college campuses, Bridge delivers on its mission.
When I started playing lacrosse with Bridge in 2004, I had no idea what the sport was. I was immediately drawn to it because it was a challenge and it felt great to be part of a team. I learned valuable lessons about teamwork and selflessness that will stay with me for the rest of my life.
As a current bridge Coach, I am very grateful to have come full circle. Not only does Bridge focus on promoting lacrosse, Bridge gives young people the opportunity to practice mental toughness, personal responsibility, working hard, teamwork, and commitment. Bridge Lacrosse is an awesome nonprofit and I am very happy to still be a part of the Bridge family!
My son's passion for lacrosse was ignited by the wonderful team at Bridge 7 years ago. Not only have they nurtured him well beyond his time playing for the program, they have inspired him to give back and mentor current students. It would be an understatement to say that David and Bridge Dallas have been instrumental to my son's growth.
My children have been playing with Bridge Lacrosse for three years. They are excited to go to practice. Their coaches know their personal as well as athletic strengths and weaknesses. Most importantly, the opportunities they've received as a result of their involvement has extended far beyond the lacrosse field!
Bridge Lacrosse is a great organization! It’s more than Lacrosse it’s a family! Not only do they introduce this sport to the city of Dallas but they provide support to the families to ensure the student athletes are growing outside of sports.
Growing up I played many sports and was part of many organizations and when my daughter was younger we were involved in many sports organizations. All who boast development of youth. I have never in my life been more proud to be apart of an organization that doesn't just boast, they live it every day. Bridge Lacrosse is an amazing youth development organization, this sports based FAMILY that I have seen change people in a positive direction. The leadership skills and confidence levels are truly something that I have never seen in any other organization. They are a big Family supporting each other in every aspect! Honored to be apart of the Bridge Family.
The enthusiasm of the coaches at Bridge is contagious! My daughter has been playing for 3 years now and I've never seen her so excited about a sport ever. Everything about this organization is top notch. Parent involvement is encouraged and these coaches care about every aspect of the kids' lives, not just sports ability.
So grateful to be a part of the bridge family!

My son has been playing lacrosse for 3 years now. We first was introduce to the game by Bridge. What a great organization. Bridge makes sure the kids homework is complete before they step foot on the field for practice. This type of leadership from all of bridge, says a lot about the character of the organization. I would definitely recommend getting involved with bridge and change a young person life for ever.
Thanks Bridge
My son was introduced to the Dallas Bridge lacrosse program 5 years ago and it has been, and still is great! He's now a 7th grader and still plays. Awesome coaches, awesome program. Glad to be a part of it!
I joined this Lacrosse organization in high school at Irma Rangel and I have to say it was one of the greatest things I could have done. Even though it was my first time ever getting my hands on a lacrosse stick they made the learning process so fun. The team was so accepting of new members and I overall loved being a part of this team and organization. My only regret is not having joined sooner.
Not only does Bridge Lacrosse serve the community by bringing lacrosse to kids who wouldn't otherwise get to play, it builds a foundation of leadership and community.
Life-changing is the ONLY way in which to describe my experiences with Bridge. I met Edie Lycke, the founder of BridgeLacrosse, in 2009 at a showcase of college men's Lacrosse at SMU. Having been connected to the game at a young age, when I moved from New York to Dallas after undergraduate not only was I "homesick" for Lacrosse, but was also finally realizing the profoundly positive impact sports made on my personal life and now my professional life, having just accepted a job in corporate banking with a Top-5-Financial Institution. BridgeLacrosse had a mission that spoke to me on a deeply personal level and I was determined to make time for this organization in my life!
I began volunteering with Bridge at various events, first as a time-keeper, then a sideline ref, field painter, auction organizer, or whatever else was needed. In 2009 I began volunteer coaching with Irma Rangel and then moved to St. Phillip's to help develop the Girls team there. For me, coaching was a way to help the girls develop confidence, on and off the field, develop a sense of responsibility to themselves and the larger community, and of course to share a game I loved so much with others. Interestingly, although I was volunteering my time, I know that I was the one truly receiving a huge benefit from this experience.
Bridge is not an organization. Bridge is a family and one I'm fortunate to get to be a part of!
Thank you Bridge Lacrosse for another successful partnership!
Circle of Support's mission is to expose the students in the Southern Dallas and surrounding cities to new and exciting experiences and your program was a major part of that mission. Our girls and boys were hesitant initially to try a new sport, but once your staff explained how the game works they quickly realized how much fun Lacrosse can be. Your staff was courteous, dedicated and energetic during our 8 week program. We truly appreciate your service. Keep up the great work!
