Bridge Africa Foundation is an organization that does amazing work! Staff and leadership is not only extremely knowledgeable, but is also incredibly passionate about the job they do and the mission of the organization, which is to promote a quality academic and social education for African children. They do this through partnerships with numerous schools and other organizations throughout Africa, providing school supplies and equipment for after school activities, among other things. Everyone involved in the organization is extremely committed and passionate about the mission and the work they do, and that kind of passion is contagious and shows in everything they do.

Causes: Philanthropy, Philanthropy, Charity & Voluntarism Promotion
Mission: Advocating quality in social and academic education for children and youths in Africa
Results: We partner with schools and educational organizations who work with schools in Africa. So far, we have partnered with 24 partners with a reach to over 50,000 children. Our collaboration means we can work hand in hand in delivering our educational programs. Our programs cover, Reading, which includes stories, science, math, writing and vocabulary training books. We also donate school supplies, like white boards, writing materials, and in other cases we have supported and donated food supplies for school meals. Other programs we offer are STEAM/ STEM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) activity sheets, backed with materials for these activities. We also offer workshops and support in implementation of social emotional learning, (SEL). SEL is necessary to lead an intentional, collaborative process in schools to promote academic, social, and emotional performances through workshops for learning viable strategies. The strategies helps engage adults, and support students, and together both can foster equitable learning environments. Our current achievement is partnering with a provider in Maryland to provide music lessons to our Partner, which will include over 20,000 children. This has been a long standing wish for us which is now being implemented. Free of charge to our collaborative partners. Most of our collaborative partners include schools who cater for the education of vulnerable children, orphans, and children who are growing up in the slum areas. One of our proprietors who caters for poor children, provides transportation to school and meals in school which in most cases is the one meal the child has to eat for the day.
