My wife was surfing the cable TV channels Friday evening and I noticed a basketball game. Quickly, I asked Marina to go back to channel 40... maybe the Knicks are playing. My intuition nailed it! The Heat were playing the Knicks and it was Halftime. Brian Grant was being interviewed and unfortunately I caught only the tail end. Nevertheless I was so pumped when I realized he was helping people with Parkinson's. I told my wife that I could use a support group and I was hoping to attend the event he had planned as I wanted very badly to meet Brian. Also I am a huge fan of Pat Riley. I have spent my life motivating myself and others and my heroes are the Bill Belichick's, Pat Riley's, Jack Canfield, Les Brown, Vic Conant, Tony Robbins, Zig Ziglar, Tom Ferry, J. Douglas Edwards, Brian Tracy, Nightingale/Conant, Floyd Wickman, Jack LaLanne, ..........the list is quite long. I have been in sales since the age of 12. And I was, a super salesman, sales manager, VP of sales, life coach and I have experience selling successfully in fourteen different industries... However my passion is sharing universal wisdom, truth, and the occult and metaphysical sciences. It has been a hobby and passion since the age of 12. I just thought that I wouldn't be able to make a living in a profession that was not accepted by mainstream society. I would wonder how could have college funding for three life long straight A students. I wasn't concerned about retirement because I knew one day I would be super successful. I'm still waiting
.In June of 1999 I started a coaching company Life Management Strategies and a month later i met my soul mate. The woman I had been praying for off and on for twenty seven years. I fell head over heels and I was caught in a whirlwind romance traveling to the Keys, LA La Land, Wash DC, and many other venues for three months. i didn't pay enough attention to my coaching company and I failed. I was heartbroken and I went into a deep depression for eight months. I just watched TV and ordered take out. I would only talk to Marina and my parents had to call the police to make sure I was alive. I snapped out of it because I had to go back to work. I am still pursuing my dream and my passion filled purposeful lifestyle of motivational speaking, coaching, consulting and publishing bestselling books. I'm writing my first book and it's titled How to Find Your True Life Purpose a Step by Step Guide to Success and Happiness.. I spend my days reading, writing,, swimming, and shedding weight off my limbs. I need hip replacement surgery and my hip is so bad that its bone on bone and my surgeon said I have to reduce first. Quite often I experience excruciatingly painful cramping but I am super positive and I know one day I'll be golfing, walking, and traveling the globe helping people find their true mission their "raison d'etre". Everyone marvels at my inner fortitude, my willpower and amazing attitude mission.. No matter what was on my plate I was always happy cheerful and full of vim and vigor. The only exception was when I would go into a funk. I lived a life of extremes and now I am training myself to live a life of moderation and still embody the highest expression of my personality.
I am developing an all purpose, inclusive toolkit to face the challenges of the 21st Century. My brand, Step by Step, is being introduced with How To vlogs designed to enhance, educate, stimulate and incubate, your desire to evolve spiritually. I admire this non profit organization. I whole heartily believe in their mission and vision and am
so grateful for their dedication during this unprecedented era of newly diagnosed Parkinson's
patients, particularly in the Pacific NW.
This non-profit has done very little with the tremendous amount of money they have received. It operates primarily as a jobs program for its staff and allows them to play golf with celebrities. There are far more effective organizations to give your money to that will actually fund research and outreach for Parkinson's disease.

Dear BobN, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that your last experience with our foundation in 2011 was not a positive one. A lot has changed here at the Brian Grant Foundation since we were founded in 2010. We've developed programs focused on the importance of diet and exercise for those impacted by Parkinson's disease. Thousands of individuals are engaging in our website's online resources, and we continue to update and add educational content on a regular basis. Donation dollars directly fund the above mentioned programing, and I'm happy to report that we operate on less than 20% to cover everything from staff salaries to basic office systems to office rent and supplies. We do not focus on research, as there are plenty of organizations already providing this niche. Our specialty is powering forward with identifying, gathering, and connecting all resources in order to help individuals with Parkinson's live their best life now. I sincerely hope that I have addressed your concerns. Again, we are sad to hear that your first experience with us was not a positive one. We invite you to call us if you have any additional questions about the Brian Grant Foundation (503-265-1560). Sincerely, Brittany W. Project Manger
