What a great Charity! Had a great experience helping at their Golf event this year and was able to meet some amazing women that have been assisted through the Help Now Fund. Keep up the great work!

Scam! I am currently battling breast cancer. I applied for assistance from these people but was arbitrarily denied via mass email. Doesn't seem legit at all! I asked them if they actually ever help anybody. I received a reply from a random nameless "Customer Care" rep inviting me to view their financials (on their website). I did conduct a review but not on their website. That's how I found out this charity spends TWO CENTS per every dollar donated on actually helping breast cancer patients. They use donations to hire phone donation solicitors and use the donated money to fund parties and to line their own pockets. They help no one but themselves!

In my experience, they DO NOT provide help being a cancer patient. First, they will find the simplest of things to deny you help. When you keep applying every month, they deny you still and then never get back to you at all after applying. Still nothing from them. Their $5000 is a total scam. Their average payout is maybe $500 based off a news letter they sent out that I received once. I would NEVER donate my money to these charities. They exist ONLY to pay themselves.

This foundation has provided much appreciated assistance to our family. I applied and received a phone call shortly after saying they were going to pay two of my past due utility bills. This was a huge relief lifted from my mind and allowed me to concentrate on my treatments. I also received a bag of goodies from their Feeling Beautiful Again program. Thank you Breast Cancer Charities of America from the bottom of my heart!!

My husband and I have both answered calls from this charity and had already donated when the latest call wanted to confirm my husband's previous donation. I asked my husband if he had committed to donating more and he said "No, I asked them to take us off their list". When I communicated that, the telemarketer said (and this is no lie): "How could he have gotten a call from us? We are just starting?". I have no idea what that was supposed to mean, but after politely telling him we were not interested 3 more times I had to hang up on him. How can we get OFF this annoying list?

Where to start with all the great work and mission at iGoPink? It is unique in the aspect of serving breast cancer patients in the here and now with financial assistance, beauty bags, scholarships and more. More importantly the passion of the staff and volunteers to educate about breast cancer prevention to younger women speaks multitudes about this organization. Continue keeping up the great work!

This non-profit serves women in one of the worst positions sometimes of their life. They provide them with financial assistance when they are in need to keep a roof over their head, they send out bags of Hope to lift the spirits of these women in a time where they feel like they have been defeated. But most importantly, they provide EDUCATION on how to prevent, and how to survive!! This is an amazing very SMALL group of women, fighting for others!!

The Breast Cancer Charities of America was there for my family when we were in need of guidance and direction for my aunt going through breast cancer. Their resources and friendly staff helped point us in the right direction and gave us the help we needed. Thank you!

I love BCCA so much, I volunteered for years and have had nothing but a great experience. The women they help with rent and utility bills is just fantastic. My own mom had breast cancer and has been positively touched by this organization.

I receive incessant calls from this organization multiple times a day, including after 9pm. It is a robocall. Calling back only connects you to a phone tree where a message can be left. Messages to be removed from the call list go unheeded. Calls also come from multiple numbers. I have no idea how this organization is allowed to operate in this manner. I will never donate to it.

I have received numerous calls from this "charity" over the past months. A woman identifying herself as "Sarah" comes off with this spiel ,.. but I warn you .... I have my own charity and am CIO here in Virginia, and I would NEVER approach any donor with the BS this group does. If you will not provide a credit card over phone, they will "send in the mail a pledge". WARNING!!!! I do not believe this group is at all ethical, and I have requested at least 10 - not exaggerating - 10 times to be removed from their list, but to not avail. DO NOT WASTE your money on them - give to the REAL breast cancer charities who really appreciate and need your donations. These people should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. What a horrible sham to use on unsuspecting people with a disease that unfortunately took my mother's life. I detest anything to do with this group, and I implore you to report them to the official government agencies in Washington, DC. It is charities like this that give a bad name and reputation to honest, worthwhile charities such as mine and many others.

This organization is despicable! They call multiple times a day, leave no message, only to try again and again. I will NEVER give them money! Stop. Calling. Me!

They are scam artists...do not listen to them.

Do not donate to them. harassing phone calls. Very unprofessional,. If you wish to donate to a breast cancer fund there are many good ones out there. Susan B. Komen for example or American cancer Society

The phone calls from this organization are robotic in monotone. I felt as I were talking to a robot. Could not engage in a conversation as the voice would not take a breath for me to interject. This may cause them to change the program response. Try to enter in conversation and see what happens. Am not donating after reading other reviews of percentages going to charity. A lot of nonprofits have high expenses and overheads. Nonprofit means after expenses what is left goes to cause. Same during election groups. It's a field day.

After further research and being called several times a day. It is a scam. I will not give to such an organization. If you want to give , help a neighbor or friend who has breast cancer. We all know someone whether it be a family member or friend.

After a barrage, every evening, of late calls, I decided to answer the phone from The Breast Cancer Charities of America. A fast talking lady told me how hard it was to get a hold of me and after our conversation, I was switched over to another women who wanted a $30.00 pledge and my credit card number. I told her that she wasn't going to get my card number and that I would write a check. I got my first notice in the mail about a week ago and have decided to not support this charity when I just got my second notice today in the mail. The phone calls have not stopped since my initial conversation with them. They are a relentless group of people and I will not donate to them. I want the phone calls to stop!!!!

They are high pressure and downright abusive. They call a minimum of 3 times a day. I have tried to block their calls but they use another number. So glad I didn't give them my credit card number as they wanted me to do. I would never give to this type of organization. Most likely the positive reviews are from fellow scammers.

I get many calls and did independent research. According to several news investigations I saw, they are one of the worst charities in America, with less than 1% of donations going to actually help women with breast cancer.

Breast Cancer Charities of America have called me nonstop. I thought they would eventually give up but no such luck. I finally answered the phone. When I tried to ask questions about the organization, she wouldn't stop talking to let me say anything and then hung up on me. Apparently they are going to send me a donation request. I will not be sending a donation based on my experience and from reading some of the other comments.

Seems like a scam. I needed to speak to someone regarding my pledge but when calling the only phone number on the form, they are "never available" and I've tried all times of the day. The form i'm referring to requested that my pledge be automatically deducted each month. Wow that IS NOT going to happen. Such a shame.

Its a scam. Sham on the employees who not only waste money but taint all charitable giving.

I'm getting very sick and tired of them calling me many times each day asking for donations. I would rate them with NO STARS but this program submittal made me select at least 1 star.

"According to a group’s publicly accessible IRS forms, it’s received roughly $45 million in open donations given it began in 2009. But a Help Now Fund has usually handed out usually only $187,403 to women to assistance tocompensate their bills. That is less than 1 percent of the $45 million it’s collected in donations." http://searchforthegood.com/critics-raising-questions-over-breast-cancer-charitys-fundraising-spending/

I have attended the BCCA unmasking gala for the last couple years and have been impressed with their ability to help women NOW. The stories from women who have gone through the hardships of breast cancer are heartbreaking and it is great to see our donations going to help them with their bills.

This charity focuses on the patient themselves. As far as I know there is no other charity doing this.
They help by educating young people on how to prevent breast cancer. They promote exercise and a healthy diet. They help women who are struggling to pay their light bill and water bill. They offer support emotionally as well. I am proud to be a volunteer.

Finally! A breast cancer charity that raises funds for cancer patients. Their Help Now Fund helps women pay their rent/mortgages and utilities when their finances are negatively effected by their cancer treatments. While I did not need their funds personally, I am currently at the end of my treatments and I can personally attest to the toll going through breast cancer treatments take on your emotions, sense of security, sense of peace, and, of course, your finances. BCCA is their leader, Erica Tullis are as ethical and legit as they come. They also have educational programs for universities and colleges showing young women how to make good nutritional choices for prevention.
The pharmaceuticals don't need your money, breast cancer patients do! If you want to make a real difference, this is your charity.

I support iGoPink and The Breast Cancer Charities of America because they take a DIFFERENT APPROACH to making an impact on the cancer community through their prevention and education messages. They also fund patients directly through their Help Now program. Their unique events like the stiletto sprint and masquerade gala allow you to have fun and do good.

My sister was helped while going through breast cancer by BCCA....you never imagine what it's like to be a patient until you're put in that situation. It touches the entire family....the staff and support of BCCA was unlike any other...not only did they financially help my sister keep her lights on, but they sent her workbooks and materials that helped her at her doctors appointments and just to get through. Thank you...this group is amazing!
