My sister was friends with the founder of BCCSI April, she has since passed from breast cancer., but she introduced me to a great non profit in BCCSI. They help support people who on their own could not afford mammograms, support clinical trials. Which my sister did a lot of. They help remind me that the fight is never over until cancer is a curable disease.

Megan and I have been volunteering for Breast Cancer Can Stick It for 3 years now. They are more then friends they are family to us. This organization helps women pay for mammograms. April Samuels is not only a true miracle breast cancer survivor, but she works so hard to see that we raise money for other women to be able to have mammograms. My own aunt has had breast cancer twice and just finished radiation treatments this past year. We love you BCCSI.

I have reached out to Breast Cancer Can Stick It when personal friends were diagnosed with breast cancer. Each time, the BCCSI community contacted these women personally and offered their support.

I have also had the opportunity to work with these volunteers at Plano Pride. Their love and dedication to their cause speaks volumes about the organization.

I have volunteered with many organizations large and small over the years and watched with an expert eye when I joined BCCSI! as a volunteer. Joining what was at the time a smaller, newer charity, I was suspicious and wary. Turns out there was no need! I am so happy with what I found in this group. I am very impressed with the depth of the board and committees. If they identify a need they take steps to address it quickly and nimbly (oh that is HUGE!). The partnerships BCCSI! has with the organizations the money is donated to is top notch. Everyone I have worked with is professional, humble, grateful, thankful and united in the mission to beat breast cancer. Working with BCCSI! has been very rewarding. Being a part of a growing exciting charity is just a great experience, and being a part of the growth is inspiring. The thing that keeps me coming back is that I really have FUN working with this group, and they thank ME for volunteering - I don't know when I ever said those things about a group I volunteered for. I look forward to continued support of BCCSI! for many years to come.

Breast Cancer Can Stick It! is an amazing organization that I am proud to say I am a part of. I have been on the Board of Directors since January 2015, & am also on the social media team, & our Drummathon committee. I lost my mother to breast cancer, and my paternal grandmother was a breast cancer survivor. Breast cancer affects everyone, & this organization is entirely 100% volunteer based. These people donate their time, their love, their heart, and their souls to this organization. April Samuels is an inspiring woman, a breast-cancer survivors, a professional drummer, & one of my very best friends. She has made it her mission in life to find a cure for breast cancer through this awesome music minded foundation that she started! All of the funds raised, go towards mammograms for under insured and non-insured individuals, breast Cancer research and trials, and financial assistance for breast cancer treatment. We’re blessed to partner with Parkland Comprehensive Breast Center, and Baylor Sammons Cancer Center here in Dallas.
“It’s not about saving breasts, it’s about saving lives.” ~ April Samuels ❤️

I first met April Samuels when I was a baby. My dad worked for April's dad. My daddy passed away from colon cancer at the age of 30 years old. I was 7 at the time. My mother, and step dad later worked April's dad. When I reunited with April at Metal Shop, a band she plays in, I started volunteering for Breast Cancer Can Stick It. I love this wonderful organization. It is unique because it incorporates music with a fight for breast cancer! April is an inspiration to all those fighting cancer. I have had friends in addition to April who are fighting breast cancer now, or are survivors or passed from it. I truly believe if we can help find a cure for breast cancer, it will open the doors to other people fighting all cancer or other illnesses. So help us fight the fight.

As a breast cancer survivor, I was looking for ways to give back after I finished my treatment. I was at a concert and saw the Breast Cancer Can Stick It! booth and knew I wanted to get involved in this awesome foundation that combines music and a passion for helping fight breast cancer! In addition to meeting some awesome people, I love the fact that we can see exactly where the funding goes... it stays local to help people in our own backyard. The Dallas community is a better place because of Breast Cancer Can Stick It!

After being diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2015, I endured 6 months of treatment including surgery and chemo. When I was declared cancer-free, I began searching for ways to make sense of my experience and help others. After meeting April Samuels in 2016 and seeing her passion for doing good through Breast Cancer Can Stick It! Foundation, I knew I wanted to be a part of that mission! April has inspired me - not only as a fellow breast cancer survivor, but also as a volunteer in our community. It is an honor and a blessing for me to volunteer with this organization!

I’ve volunteered for this organization in many ways over the last couple of years simply because of the genuine passion and tireless efforts of the Founder, April Samuels, who is a remarkable human being. A breast cancer survivor and warrior herself, April is constantly looking for ways to raise funds that will provide treatment for those who cannot afford it.

I became part of BCCSI in 2015 and it has been a wonderful experience. April and crew are the real deal, and are making a difference right here in our community. The commitment April has for this foundation is 110 percent, and I honestly don't know how to keep with her. She is tireless in her efforts, and is truly great to work with. The volunteers I have worked with in this organization are second to none, and I look forward to many years of "stickin it to breast cancer" to come. Chip Heller

I discovered "Breast Cancer Can Stick It" through their involvement in the local music community. It wasn't until they asked me to help emcee the annual Drumathon that I realized how truly great they are. It was an honor and a privilege to see firsthand how incredible "Breast Cancer Can Stick It" is. I plan on helping the cause into the future.

This organization is growing leaps and bounds helping people in the community and I'm glad to be a part of it. April has an incredible passion to "StickIt" to breast cancer and clearly she won't give up until there is a cure. We are all fighting together to save lives!

I found out about Breast Cancer Can Stick It through one of their board members and not only did her passion for the organization pull me in, but its Founder and Executive Director , April Samuels had an amazing testimonial. She is a Triple Negative breast cancer survivor, which led to her building the non-profit to raise awareness/money for research, helping women get mammograms, and helping women who have breast cancer that need financial help.

My mother is a recent breast cancer survivor and it runs in our family, so I realize I'm at a really high risk for being diagnosed one day. It's one of the reasons I have decided to give my time and resources to this non-profit. Even though there may be other organizations raising awareness and money for breast cancer, this non-profit has a sense of intimacy and it's like you're part of a family. There's a synergy and an electricity that one can feel when helping this organization. It's because of April's extreme passion and belief in what she's created that filters down to each board member to every volunteer, fundraiser, donor, client and members of the public.

Another reason I decided to volunteer is that I believe in what April is trying to accomplish and I loved the way she leveraged her passion of being a drummer into creating the Drummathon in order to raise funds and awareness about breast cancer. Not only does it bring in celebrity drummers, but it engages the community in a different way to participate and raise funds. It crosses several different demographics, which makes the non-profit and its events even more inclusive making it that much more unique. There aren't too many people I'd ride into battle with, but I'd join April and my friend into this battle any day of the week.

I have worked with this charity representing my client as a corporate sponsor of several of their events over several years. The founder and board members are all highly ethical people that serve their charity well and are very organized and passionate about their mission.

I was impressed enough that I have also donated personally to Breast Cancer Can Stick It. The founder, April Samuels, is a breast cancer survivor and an amazing person with the kind of outlook on life that we should all hope to have. She puts a lot of heart into reaching out to people fighting breast cancer, and their families.

Breast Cancer Can Stick It! tirelessly and relentlessly works to further the fight against breast cancer every day of the year. It's founder, April Samuels, is as selflessly committed to the incredible work and fantastic events benefiting breast cancer research and cures as she is committed the organization itself. Her personal and passionate work is evidenced by the loyal following her organization has, which is further evidenced by the substantial donations and amounts she has given to this important cause so close to her heart. It is a wonderful foundation - one incredibly true to its cause, and full of volunteers who are as passionate about finding a cure as is April herself. They are truly doing amazing work in sticking it to breast cancer!!
