This year I volunteered as a photographer at the charity's annual golf fundraising event. It was incredibly inspiring to document the generosity of all the participants who donated their time and resources to support such an important cause - helping women in need. Though the atmosphere was festive, with groups of friends enjoying the golf and activities, the sincerity of the attendees' philanthropic spirit came through in every frame. Being able to chronicle this communal dedication through my volunteer photography work was a profoundly moving experience. Events like these remind us of the power of compassion and community.

Knowing that our efforts supported such a crucial cause made it incredibly rewarding. I can't wait to volunteer again!

In 2015, I was diagnosed with Metastatic (Stage 4) Breast Cancer. When talking with the Breast Cancer Navigator, she explained to me the benefits of applying for help because I would no longer be able to work full-time, let alone work while I was going through treatment. She helped me by requesting help from Breast Cancer Angels and I received Costco & Arco gift cards for gas and groceries. With her help, I was able to learn more about Breast Cancer Angels and felt I could reach out for help when I was able to be eligible again. Not only have they helped me financially, but they have helped me not stress out as much and be social with some of the fundraising events they are affiliated with. I love their work and their commitment to help those struggling with breast cancer because I, myself, have been able to go through my treatments and life without stressing out too much. Thank you BCA for your continuing support.

I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in 2019, and it’s been financially difficult for my family. Co- pays, costs for medications add in inflation and all other bills and it’s hard to make ends meet. Breast Cancer Angels sent me gift cards to Costco which helped with groceries as well as gas, alleviating some of the financial stress we were experiencing.
It was easy to apply and I was happy with how fast the process was. Thank you BCA and all who donate to them.

As a board member, breast cancer survivor, and fervent advocate for those undergoing the harrowing journey of breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, I can attest with both personal and professional insight to the invaluable role that the Breast Cancer Angels play in the Southern California community.

This nonprofit organization offers far more than financial aid. They give hope, guidance, and assurance that those battling this disease are not alone.

Debbie works tirelessly to ensure that every person who reaches out is given the care and support they deserve. Her dedication goes beyond working hours, as she often find herself involved in personal capacities, ensuring that the emotional, psychological, and physical needs of cancer patients and their families are met.

From helping with medical bills to providing emotional counseling, from creating awareness campaigns to organizing community events that bind survivors and fighters alike, Breast Cancer Angels has touched countless lives in ways that words might fall short of expressing.

As a survivor, I have firsthand experience of the fear, uncertainty, and anxiety that come with the diagnosis. It's organizations like the Breast Cancer Angels that transform these feelings into hope, resilience, and a community spirit. Through this organization, I have found purpose and meaning as an advocate.

Their work truly embodies the essence of what it means to be angels on Earth.
