Our dear sweet Aunt Eloise Whittlesey, (our father's sister) longtime resident of Des Moines, WA, went to be with the Lord last week. The family requested that donations be given to this worthy organization, BREAD OF LIFE MISSION. They evidently have supported them for some time, so we are very happy to join them in honor of Eloise.

I love volunteering for the BOLM. Most especially the "drive by fooding" that allows us volunteers to help feed the homeless once a month in an area where they are.

The Bread of Life Mission has the true spirit of giving. They treat their volunteers with love and appreciation. God is at work in this mission and you leave feeling like you've connected with people and have served the way that Jesus wants us to serve. The staff are so helpful in making you feel comfortable and finding all sorts of.ways for anyone to help where they feel comfortable.

Bread of Life Mission is an amazing organization - with passionate volunteers, staff and leadership. The men that are in the Life Change program are a true inspiration. BOLM serves 300+ people every weekday breakfast, lunch and dinner - as well as providing more than 110+ beds for male's in their overnight shelter. Whether you are passionate about the homeless population, want to share your talents and gifts with a deserving nonprofit organization, or you just feel God is leading you to lend a hand - the Bread Of Life Mission is a great place to plug in. Take a tour, volunteer, connect right in the heart of Pioneer Square. You'll be so happy you did!
