Mission: Emergency medical service / ambulance needs
Programs: The brandon area rescue squad, located in brandon vt, has been proudly serving the emergency medical service and ambulance needs for the towns of brandon, goshen, forestdale, leicester, and sudbury, for the past 41 years! In the last year alone, brandon rescue responded to more than 690 calls for help. The brandon area rescue squad is licensed by the vermont department of health at the paramedic level, the highest prehospital level of care available in the state, and is staffed with more than 36 volunteer members, 1 part time staff member and 1 full time operations chief. We operate a fleet of three state of the art ambulances staffed by drivers with cpr training, first responders, emt's, emt intermediates and paramedics out of our station on the south end of the town on route 7. In addition to 24 hour emergency ambulance service, brandon rescue offers several prevention and educational programs and opportunities. These include: cpr trainingfirst aid trainingentry level prehospital training programsour cpr classes are available for schools, businesses, professional organizations, and individuals. We have certified instructors available year round.
