Programs: The after school zone offers innovative summer and after school programs to middle school students in 14 orange county middle schools. The after school zone provides a fun and safe environment to help students excel academically and choose the right path to becoming productive, healthy citizens.
continued use of 21st century community learning center grants in our walt disney world clubhouse, universal orlando foundation club, joe r. Lee club, east altamonte club and tupperware brands club. 21st century community learning center grants are funded by the florida department of education as part of the federal no child left behind initiative. These grants serve struggling students from local title i elementary/middle schools and use project-based learning experiences, led by florida-certified teachers with assistance from bgccf staff, to provide reading, math, stem, and personal enrichment activities. Students' families also receive educational and personal development opportunities.
