Causes: Boys & Girls Clubs, Children & Youth
Mission: The mission of Boys & Girls Club of the Foothills (BGCF) is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
Target demographics: help youth of all backgrounds develop the qualities they need to overcome obstacles, become responsible citizens, and emerge as leaders
Direct beneficiaries per year: over 300 youth each day and 1,000 members annually with a waiting list of more than 100
Geographic areas served: the densely populated, multi-ethnic areas of Monrovia and Duarte in Los Angeles County
Programs: character & leadership, college access program, education & career development, health & life skills, sports / fitness / recreation, STEM program, and the arts
