I'm not the kind of person who complains but since I'm currently preganct the pregnancy hormones are kicking in. I've been calling Boy's & Girls club for a month about volunteering since I have 50 hours of community service hours due on August 3rd.
They always said "someone will call you back, someone will call you" and they never do.
Finally I demanded Answers and I wish I took a step back to think about how my actions may affect others and how to talk to sensitive women because clearly my pregnancy hormones kicked in when I felt I was being ignored and they explained to me the process is the same as everyone else.
The CEO pulled me aside & they almost seemed as if they were offended by the fact that I was asking why it took so long.
Not even 10 minutes in since I left & they called me to tell me their not interested in working with me anymore before they gave me a chance. I was very upset to read this and I hope you are too as you read this.
I wouldn't volunteer to a place that judges people off the bat, it's not like I asked to work there I just asked to volunteer and they told me "my attitude problem " is an issue.
First off I'm a flight attendant and I'm the last person to have an attitude problem, I sware these women are too sensitive (maybe from the heat. It affects us all lol).
Go do you but don't do it with B&G Club
