The Boys & Girls Club is the premier youth service organization in the City of Clifton. From Gingerbread (pre-school) to High School, the Club serves children and their working parents. The Club is safe, affordable, and managed by a dedicated, caring staff, in-tuned with the changing needs of the developing child.
The Boys & Girls Club of Clifton has been a part of the community for many years. My children are members and enjoy participating in activities from after care, soccer, swim lessons and karate class. The staff are very attentive and caring with the children. I feel safe that my children are well taking care of and are in excellent hands with the staff.

The Boys & Girls Club of Clifton, NJ is fulfilling a needed role in the development and enrichment of the children and the communities they serve. I have had the opportunity to volunteer and assist the Boys & Girls Club on numerous occasions, and can personally attest to the sincerity of the staff, the Club's dedication to keeping children involved character building programs and activities, and the tremendous impact that the Club has on our neighborhoods.
i have been involved with the Club for the better part of 11 years and certainly am impressed with the way the club is run and the service it provides to the children of Clifton and their parents. The Club provides services to over 11,000 children each year and seems to have a little something for every age bracket of children. The Club has an excellent after school program that is administered to over 700 hundred children each day both at the main site and several various school sites throughout Clifton. Of course there is always room for improvement and the Club certainly has its share of issues dealing with so many children. However, what I like most about the Club is the flexibility it has in dealing with these issues and the expedient way in which they are handled. I enjoy interfacing with the Club in various ways and look forward to continuing my involvement. The Boys and Girls Club of Clifton is certainly a "Positive Place for Kids."
I was a member of the Girls Club as a child and I can still remember the fun I had there. Never thought that years later I would be a Board Member of the club, but it was something I had to do. I had to go back and volunteer for the organization that helped make me the person I am today. The dedication the staff gives to the children each and every day is commendable. Keep up the good work in helping to educate our future leaders.
My boys (ages 8 & 5) LOVE the club. When I say we live there it's no joke. They have so much to offer for kids of almost any age. My youngest started at the club with Mom and Tot swimming lessons. My oldest with the after school care. We take part of many of the programs and activities that the club has to offer. We feel safe and secure here.
I am proud to also be an employee of the Boys and Girls Club. I've seen the club grow and the children grow with it. Watching the children you knew as Gingerbread kids grow into amazing teens is awesome.
Ive been a member since 1959 never left currently chairman of the board i would not be where i am today if it were not for the club its been my life and i love giving back

The boys and girls club of Clifton is a rewarding and fun place to be. As a teacher's helper for the last three and a half years, I have seen kids grow and advance ready for kindergarten. All the children are treated with love and respect. It's a great place for kids and a great place to work.
Coming to the Boys and Girls Club as a new volunteer, I automatically felt welcomed by everyone and could see what a friendly, safe environment it was. Children are able to express themselves freely, make new friends with other kids, and create many fun memories. It is the perfect place for kids and volunteers of all ages.
I've been a worker for the Clifton Boys & Girls Club since 2006. Through out the years the club has grown and changed tremendously! Every year something new and improved is added to the club to make the club newer and improved. The club is up to date with newer technology machines and always well kept on their maintenance. All the children who are members of the club love spending their afternoons there. They make a lot of friends and have a lot of after school activities to keep them busy. Me as a parent, I know my children are always in a safe environment when attending the Clifton Boys and Girls Club. I highly recommend the club to other parents with children. It's a great, safe place!
The Boys and Girls Club of Clifton has always been there for me. Fifteen years ago is when i first started coming here as a child and now i come back all the time to volunteer as an adult. i always found it to be my second home because of all the wonderful and familiar people. You can talk to anyone here and know they're always there for you. It's a safe and reliable place for children of all ages! You're never too young and never too old to be a member!
I love everything about this place. I have been here since 2009 and I can not complain about anything. So far it has been a great place. I also like the fact that when ever I need someone to turn too, there is a great staff behind it to help you through anything that you need. It's like there is always someone there to give you a hand. Also, I have the best early childhood director who is on point with everything.

The Boys and Girls Club is a wonderful environment for children of all ages. The kids do a variety of different activities. The staff and kids are very friendly and helpful.
I have to say the best part of The Boys and Girls Club of Clifton has to be The Early Childhood Program. The teachers are caring, creative, and very dedicated to the children. The activities that are held there exceed normal standards. As for the director of the program, she stops at nothing to make improvements to our already amazing program.
The Boys and Girls Club of Clifton provides anyone who walks through the door with a life changing experience of happiness and joy. As a volunteer I found myself getting very connected with the staff and children there. I asked the kids whether they would rather go to camp somewhere else or not and every single child I asked told me they would rather go to the Boys and Girls than go to school everyday. So I would certainly volunteer there again, and recommend it to anyone.

The Boys and Girls Club of Clifton is a positive and influential place for children to engage in extracurricular activities and form everlasting friendships. We operate as a family helping each member become a positive citizen for the city of Clifton as well as the world. We are proud of our excellent Early Childhood Program which serves children ages 2 1/2 to 5 years old in developing the necessary basic academic and social skills needed to become successful students and productive members of society. College scholarships are a great incentive for High School students to become part of the Club, hence giving them an opportunity to enroll into college with much ease. Our swimming program builds confidence from the very youngest of our members and helps keep our older members lead a healthy life style. I am proud to be a part of what makes this Club an excellent place to be in and have fun while building unforgettable memories!
The Boys and Girls Club of Clifton is an amazing place for children. Not only do they offer different programs such as swimming, soccer, basketball, afterschool programs, etc, they give children a safe place to interact with another. The boys and girls club of Clifton is a great place to work and go! It has a positive affect on everyone's life. There are many activities such as, soccer, basketball, and keystone, for all age groups. Also, for holidays they have parties for the kids to enjoy. The boys and girls club is a positive place for kids to be, rather than out roaming the streets. The employees take pride in their job and many of times kids come back to visit their teacher because they loved them so much.
I became a part of the Boys and Girls Club ‘family’ about a year ago and since the very first day I walked in, I felt welcomed. The employees are friendly, cheerful and very helpful. The Boys and Girls Club is a big part of a child’s life from Early Childhood to School Age children. It’s full of positive teachers, counselors, and volunteers who care for “The Club” and the children’s development.
I came into the boys and girls club to help children and be apart of the team. This organization in my opinion is very good, it helps children and their development. Inaddition the working enviornment is a good one with people who care about the club and its aspirations. The club has established programs and volunteer survices to help children in the community interact with others. That is why I believe it is an extraordinary place to be apart of.
I started my relationship with the Boys and Girls Club about 15 years ago as a participant of the youth swim lessons. After a few years I joined the Seahawks Swim team until I started high school. Along with participating in the club's activities, I also began working as a lifeguard and swim instructor. Nearly 7 years later, I am still an employee and can say that I am proud to be a part of the program run there. Not only did it help in molding me to become the person that I am today, it has also allowed me to build relationships with people whom I call my second family. I'm truly thankful for having the BGC of Clifton as a part of my life and cannot imagine if other children did not have the same opportunity.

It's Great Futures Plan will ensure academic success , heathy lifestyle, and good character and citizenship for the over 5345 registered members.

This is a well organized facilty with staff that truly care about children. Being a former employee for 12 years, and now a parent of a child who attends, I have seen first hand the ins and outs of the facility and what it takes to run a club this size in this community. This facilty serves THOUSANDS of children and their families, from daycare starting at 2 1/2 yrs old to swim lessons, sports, adult swim/exercise programs, open swims, tutoring, tteen programs, before and after school care, competitive swim team...this club has it all and at ridiculously liw cost!
