Programs: Sports & recreation: creating a healthier generation: these programs help develop physical fitness, reduce stress, and promote a positive use of leisure time, appreciation for the environment, and interpersonal skills. All of our sports and recreation programs focus on social-emotional learning to teach teamwork, and prepare young people with values and skills they need for the future. They also help develop young people's capacity to engage in positive behaviors to nurture their well-being, set personal goals, and grow into self-sufficient adults.
this program provides a safe, supervised environment for children whose parents are working, in school or training, or referred by child protective services. The program also provides scholarship funds to assist working, underprivileged families and parents.

At boys & girls clubs, we show our kids and teens that with a focused approach and hard work, they can achieve their goals in school and beyond. We are also committed to closing the opportunity gap in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (stem) with innovative and creative after-school and summer learning programs.
character & leadership: developing 21st century leaders: these programs help youth become responsible, caring citizens and acquire skills to participate in the democratic process. Program participants develop leadership skills and gain opportunities for planning, decision-making, and contributing to their club and community. We are also setting the stage for teen to go from first job to dream job. Boys & girls clubs of king county's unique approach to workforce readiness prepares youth for success in their first jobs and helps them develop a plan to achieve their chosen career goals.
