As a parent of a former scout who nearly went to Eagle, I can only hope that this organization tries to diminish the effects of the speech delivered by our president last night. To make the speech about him, to encourage booing at his predecessor, to use vocabulary not fitting the office and use an anecdote unfitting for the age group was to sully the office. A horrible example to give our young men who will be returning to school within a matter of weeks.
