Mission: The mission of Boulder County AIDS Project (BCAP) is twofold: to provide support, advocacy, and education to those in our community who are infected with or affected by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and to serve as an outreach and information center to prevent further transmission of HIV and the resulting acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS).
Results: At the end of 2011, BCAP served over 230 clients and made over 34,000 prevention outreach contacts in Boulder, Gilpin, Clear Creek and Broomfield Counties: - 45% live on less than less than $10,890 per year - 54% receive some form of public health insurance and 11% have no insurance

Programs: HIV Care Services include Case Management, two food banks and housing. HIV Prevention Service include Outreach and Education, HIV Testing and two volunteer-led, peer-education groups.
