Causes: Farmland Preservation, Food
Mission: Boulder community alliance actively champions the unique values of the boulder area by promoting a balance of sustainable community, conservation, culture, and commerce. We foster communication and education, support and create local and regional programs, and facilitate access to funding and other resources.
Programs: In 2014, the foundation finished up the work they had committed to do with the grant from the walton foundation in assisting with the regional watershed health environment project. The foundation's local initiatives continued as well, which include publication of the sage page (4 times per year), acting as "fiscal agent" by accepting tax deductible donations and grants on behalf of the boulder park friends, friends of boulder library, boulder heritage foundation and boulder arts foundation. The foundation also works on miscellaneous projects with the boulder elementary preschool and boulder community christmas program.
