Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Human Services, Military & Veterans Organizations, Travelers Aid, Veterans
Mission: Our Mission is to uplift and support the overall morale and well-being of all deployed U.S. service members who sacrifice daily defending our freedom. Boots For Troops sends custom built care packages to troops all around the globe, filled with a new pair of personal boots and other morale boosting gifts. We believe that giving back to our service men and women reminds them that the patriots back home do appreciate their commitment and dedication to service and the sacrifices they make for our country.
Results: We have sent out over 3,500 care packages and as we grow, our numbers increase weekly. Our packages have made a significant impact so far in squadrons and platoons around the globe in Kuwait, Afghanistan, Bahrain, and aboard our Naval ships. Target demographics: to boost the morale of our deployed service members overseas.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 837 deployed troops with packages, 20 families to get home for the holidays, and honored 75 veterans.
Geographic areas served: Tomball, TX
Programs: With our Care Package Program we send the very best care packages to raise spirits and help our members through long and difficult deployments. Each package is customized to fit the needs of each individual including a brand new pair of boots requested by the soldier. Also we have the Warrior Morale Project, "I'll Be Home For Christmas", in which we raise money to send our troops home for the holidays to be with their families.
