The Tempe listing is because the Chairman of the Board of Directors lives in Tempe. Both the Phoenix listing and the Tempe listing are the same group.

Our Foundation provides financial assistance to Arizona Veterans, Military and their Families at the time the need exist. DD214 or similar proof of service are required prior to any assistance.

I would like to share a letter from one of our Veterans Service Organizations in Tucson written to Mike MaLoon, one of our board members: Mike, Hope all is well with you. Wanted to let you know that we were able to use part of our grant from you to assist a veteran and his wife who were traveling through Tombstone. They had driven from Yuma to Amarillo because of the promise of a job and a place to live. That didn't work out. On top of that, his wife is recovering from some emergency surgery. They were trying to get back to Yuma but were out of gas and money in Benson. The Benson VFW sent them to us and we were able to get them a room for the night for a much needed rest and money for food and gas to get home. The real bonus to this is that they may actually get jobs at the motel we put them up in! On top of that, the wife had raised money for "Boots for Our Troops' in Yuma, so her good works are being directly rewarded. Way cool! Susan
