The BookSpring Family Readathon really encourages my kids to read. One of my three kids naturally loves reading, but the Readathon has helped encourage more and more reading from my other two kids each time it happens.

"Only the educated are free!" And watching BookSpring attending and hosting community events, driving to schools, working so hard to reach the roots of our central Texas community wherever they may be found to deliver fun, engaging educational material, if these were everywhere, the world would be a better place!

BookSpring is a terrific organization working hard to increase the access to books in the home for children and their families across Central Texas. I began my affiliation with the organization in 2014 as an AmeriCorps volunteer. I remain committed to supporting this literacy nonprofit! I saw firsthand the impact BookSpring had on the children and families they serve.

I found BookSpring in a Google Search as a valuable and trusted resource to donate children's books. For someone who works at a children's brand and publisher, we had generous customers who wanted to purchase our books to donate to this wonderful organization that serves children and families in the Central Texas community. I would really encourage anyone who sees this to find a way to contribute any way you can back to this organization. Whether it's volunteer, donation or simply spreading its mission.

Literacy appears to be the key to advancing in one's life and career. BookSpring does an incredible job of enabling parents and children to discover a passion for reading and understand its importance. As a nonprofit consultant, I work with a lot of nonprofits and BookSpring has always impressed me with its commitment and clarity of mission and its willingness to adapt and change to continue to serve its community.

Our family learned about BookSpring when I went looking for a children's literacy nonprofit to support and get involved with. BookSpring welcomed us with open arms and we have been so pleased with the volunteer opportunities, the high-quality programming, and the transparency that shows our support is directly impacting children in our area who lack books and resources for literacy. BookSpring is thinking outside the box to maximize the fulfillment of its mission and the Staff and volunteers we have met are so delightful! Highest recommendation!

BookSpring makes a huge difference in the lives of children who don't have access to books. I admire their passion for literacy, and have enjoyed participating in their program.

I heard about the ReBook program when I was researching nonprofits to get involved with, and I love the idea of putting gently used children's books into the hands of young people who often don't own books of their own. Highest form of RECYCLING!
I brought a couple of bags of books over and they were so nice and encouraging that I ran a notice in my condo building. Two bags of additional books appeared on my doorstep and one lady actually went out and bought books she remembered from her childhood and wanted to share with today's children. It was precious! Great job, BookSpring and I am proud to work with you as a brand new board member!

Our Daisy Troop went to donate books and Bookspring showed them around, let them label the books to where they were going. It was a great experience for all our girls and we plan to do the same thing next year. We love that our girls can help Austin children get new books!

I had such a fun time sorting books at BookSpring--it especially makes for a great company volunteer event. I was very impressed by their staff, and loved learning more about their incredible mission.
