A good help aco, is an accountable care organization (aco) that received approval from the centers for medicare and medicaid services (cms) to participate in the medicare shared savings program (mssp), effective january 1, 2013. Part of the affordable care act of 2010, the mssp is intended to facilitate cooperation among health care providers for the coordination of care for medicare fee-for-service beneficiaries.
