I started out as a volunteer many years ago alongside my family. My kids loved helping other kids find the perfect toy and interacting with them. About 6 years ago I joined the board as I wanted to do more for the foundation. It has been so rewarding. It's a lot of planning but come the day of the event seeing all the smiling faces and words of gratefulness make it seem like nothing. So many people benefit from the giveaway and I hope it stays around for many years to come.
