Mission: Learning and Earning addresses Nevada's high school dropout rate. Targeting at-risk high school juniors and seniors, it offers employment, mentoring and tutoring to help students stay in school and graduate. Each student is paired with an employee of the Community College of Southern Nevada. This "mentor" trains the student in job skills; more importantly, the mentor nurtures and guides the students.
