Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Human Services
Mission: Our mission is to offer a holistic educational environment in which people and animals can safely interact, and through their mutual therapeutic experiences, broaden the scope of their lives.
Programs: Therapy: the same philosophy of riding instruction, geared to working with and through any disability. We make sure the individual is respected and heard. 150 people were served.
workshops: working with groups of students instead of the individual student. The horse becomes the center of the group and the work, helping with issues of bullying and teasing, confidence, and mental health. 382 people were served.
lessons: teaching students true to the mission and philosophy of blue rider stables. Empathy and non-judgement are the foundation of our riding even as we teach riding skills. 281 students were served.
Another great organization! Not only is the work that they do important for the animals, it is life changing for their human clients as well! ALWAYS willing to work with folks no matter what the circumstances, they are nothing but loving, gentle, and gracious people! No matter how much someone gives, they treat it like a million dollar check - truly making the donor feel useful and a vital part of their mission. Lovely lovely people and animals!
