Mission:
Blue Monarch, an 18-24 month residential program, seeks to provide a safe, nurturing, and challenging environment for determined Tennessee women and their children; our mission is to help these women overcome abuse, unhealthy choices, and emotional wounds, while teaching them how to restore family bonds and to gain independence and maturity, through God''s love.
Programs: Blue Monarch is a faith based residential, 18-24 month program using other 12 step programs. This program is at no cost to the participant. Resident referrals typically come from the Department of Children’s Services, Judicial Courts, Attorneys, Families, Churches, Jails and Prisons.
Blue Monarch can presently house 11 women with children. Since 2003, over 870 women and children have been served. Over 300 children have been reunited with their mothers who had lost custody. Substance abuse costs society approximately $143 billion in lost production, health and other expenditures. Participants are women over 18; women who demonstrate a true desire to change their lives; and women willing to participate in a faith-based program. Participants experience recovery skills; relapse prevention measures; individual family sessions; social support groups; drug screens; case management; parenting classes; living skills; computer classes.
