Mission: Our mission at BLOC LOVE Foundation is to uplift and empower Black and brown communities by fostering resilience, creativity, and unity. We provide resources, support, and opportunities that help individuals and families thrive, equipping communities to drive lasting, positive change from within. Through acts of love, collaboration, and community-focused programs, we build the foundation for a brighter, more equitable future.
Results: Since our founding, BLOC LOVE Foundation has made a meaningful impact in underserved Black and brown communities. Our results include: 3,500+ Individuals Impacted: Through our programs, events, and services, we have provided essential support to thousands across Oakland and surrounding areas. 200+ Young Creatives Spotlighted: Our Visionary Talent Tour has provided a platform for over 200 young Black artists, empowering them to share their talents and pursue creative careers. 150+ Youth Equipped with Leadership Skills: The Visionary Academy has delivered leadership and life skills training to over 150 inner-city youth, preparing them for positive change. 500+ Families Supported Annually During the Holidays: Through our Fall Feast and Adopt-a-Family programs, we have provided groceries, essentials, and gifts to ensure these families feel seen and cared for during the holiday season. 75 Grieving Parents Honored: Our Mother’s Day Gala has offered solace, community, and support to over 75 mothers and fathers coping with the loss of a child to violence. Monthly Aid to Houseless Residents: Each month, we distribute food and essential supplies to over 100 houseless individuals, ensuring they receive consistent, compassionate support. 500+ Volunteers Mobilized: Our mission has inspired over 500 volunteers, fostering a strong network of community support through generous time and in-kind donations. With grants and donations from supporters like The San Francisco Foundation, Marguerite Casey Foundation, and Philanthropic Ventures Foundation, we are ready to expand our reach, deepen our impact, and continue building vibrant, self-sustaining communities.
