Blimie Project is asking your donation to get Baby Boy Sesay a prosthetic leg.
A Nurse on ward at the Redemption Hospital in Monrovia the Capital City of Liberia tied a plastic glove on this newborn child’s leg to administer medication and when the Nurse couldn't locate the vein on the child's leg the Nurse moved to the child's head located the vein and administered the medication but left the glove on the child’s leg untied for three days causing the child's leg to swell changing color.
Baby Boy Sesay as the child is called was rushed to JFK Medical Center in Monrovia and Doctors there suggested amputating the child's leg above the ankle because of the error.
Liberia is a third world country there's no such thing as malpractice insurance to foot the bill for errors so parents have to live with it. That is why Blimie Project is inviting us to donate and help get Baby Boy Sesay a prosthetic leg.
