Target demographics: families and children living with autism spectrum disorder.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 70 families financial added, provided over 300 direct resources and impacted over 13,000 individuals through outreach and awareness

Geographic areas served: The Greater Houston area

Programs: Awareness of autism through outreach, education, and special events. Annually, we hold Fort Bend county's largest community awareness event, "Strike Out" Autism. The event includes a partnership with the sugar land skeeters, elected officials, 18 city mayors, and over 400 volunteers. Hope For Three also serves as the exclusive autism educator for the Fort Bend Sherriff's Crisis Intervention (CIT) department, training law enforcement from the Greater Houston and surrounding areas on the characteristics of autism and engagement strategies. H43 provides resources, referrals, and support to any inquiring party. This program's financial component (financial assistance) is only available to qualified residents in Fort Bend County. The program provides access to crucial therapy and treatments; uninsured or underserved children might otherwise go without. Funding is never paid to parent or caregiver, but directly to service provider treatment facility or vendor.

The organization's signature outreach initiative, "It's Cool to Care" (ICTC), is an effort to educate and enable students, nurses, educators, and others, about students with unique abilities - autism. The program also encompasses an anti-bullying campaign. From ICTC, a Teen Huddle derived; an auxiliary group of about 20 teen volunteers with a mission to "Raise autism awareness and acceptance among teens." The teen's hosts two programs in partnership with a local church 1) Parents Time Out, parents/caregivers receive 3-hours of respite. In contrast, the teens and volunteers keep all children in the family and, (2) Sibling Sessions; teens are paired with the sibling (s) in the family through a host of activities. Friendships and bonds are formed with the teens serving as a mentor for the duration of a school. Four support groups for Dads, Mom's Grandparents, and Teens/Tweens. In the newest program, Police Traffic Stops and Positive Driver Outcomes-members of law enforcement hold classroom time, teach rules of the road and safety and emulate traffic stops for individuals with autism coming of age to drive currently driving. H,.O.P.E. Helping Our Parents Excel, quarterly sessions to engage and empower our parents/caregivers with tips, techniques, and strategies for the entire family unit.

Kids on the spectrum require so much to feel comfortable in this world. Therapies, sensory accessories and/or activities, supplements, and clean food help tremendously. Paying for all of these things is nearly impossible, especially since I'm a parent of three children on the spectrum! Hope for Three helps ease this burden with financial assistance, and I cannot thank them enough! They even helped with a dental procedure! It takes a village and they are a Godsend!

My experience with Hope For Three has been a phenomenal one! The support that I have received, along with the community, has been more than I can hope for. The organization has lifted my spirit on this new journey since my son's ASD diagnosis, April 2017. I have received supportive resources such as financial assistance, self-care and free child training courses, support groups and conference trips, free brochures, and so much more. I plan to continue working with Hope For Three for the long journey ahead! Furthermore, the staff are kind, thoughtful, and incredibly caring. Thank you for all that you do!

I am raising a child on the autism spectrum and its because of Hope For Three I was able to stop out of my comfort zone to gain more knowledge for my child to function in the outside world. After gaining this knowledge I felt it was best to volunteer and provide assistance to other moms who are wanting to overcome there fears of taking their child in to the world. Hope For Three believe in providing assistance for the children while uplifting the parents.

Hope for three does many wonderful things for families with a child or children on the spectrum. One of the most appropriated is the parents night out where parents can get a few hours for themselves and know that their love ones are in the care of people who care.

Hope For Three is an amazing organization. They have supported my family through one of the most difficult times when we found out our son had Autism; he was 2 years old. They provided comfort and support and helped us find the right services for Max and helped us get started with ABA Therapy. Life would be very different if I hadn't had them there to guide me in the right direction for how I could help my son in the best way.

The words 'Thank you' are not enough to describe the gratitude we feel. Without Hope For Three, my son would not be getting the therapy he needs. I will be eternally grateful to them! They are a wonderful organization & are now part of our family!

My son was diagnosed at the age of 23 months. We had no idea what to do. A friend told us about Hope for Three. They directed me to resources I had no idea existed and other parents that served as a support system for our family. They also provided a financial award for my son, Tanner. This award made it possible for him to attend a school for ABA Therapy and to have Speech each week. Tanner just started first grade in a public school. If it were not for Hope for Three and their amazing staff and supporters, Tanner would not be thriving the way he is now. We are so thankful to have been blessed by Hope for Three.

Our family has been blessed by everyone affiliated with Hope For Three since we first learned of them in 2016 while searching for resources to assist us in providing the best developmental support and safety for our first child, who had been recently diagnosed on the Autism spectrum. We later received a diagnosis of Autism for our second child as well.

Everyone at H43 has always gone above and beyond to assist as many families like ours as possible! H43 provides education, advocacy, support groups, events, vendor relations, supplies, and the rarest gift of all, financial support for dire needs, such as the ABA therapy co-pays that Medicaid still doesn't cover in Texas.

H43 also assisted with providing a safety fence for our home, due to our children's diagnoses of wandering/elopement/bolting, and the fact we live on a busy corner lot in the highest concentration of poverty area in Fort Bend County; a high crime area of town where there are numerous registered offenders, stray animals, and other dangerous conditions.

H43 continues to strive to provide more support, compassion, and services to as many more families as possible; they truly go above and beyond in every way, while always raising their bar higher to challenge them to meet greater goals.

Our family is grateful to be a part of Hope For Three's extended family and wish to thank the Board of Directors and Ms. Samantha Katchy for their continuous support during this journey.
