Mission: The organization's mission is to improve the health and safety of their community by decreasing alcohol and other drug use among youth. This mission is accomplished through program support, policy initiatives, awareness efforts, education, and outreach.
Programs: Idfy- we empower teens to make good decisions, to develop meaningful peer relationships and to share how and why they refrain from using substances are the goals of idaho drug free youth, a program for middle school and high school.
the parent project is a course for parents and guardians to learn skills that increase the chances of keeping their teens from abusing substances. When the family is trained to use the necessary tools to intervene in harmful substance use, school attendance and performance may be improved and relationship with their teen can be strengthened. The ten-week course includes dinner and childcare and meets once a week at the community campus in hailey.
b. R. A. V. E. Is a program that reaches all youth at risk who have become involved in a disciplinary system or have had difficulties in traditional school settings or at home. B. R. A. V. E. , an acronym for "balanced, responsible, active, vitality, and enlightened" youth, provides practical, knowledge-based substance use information and life skills training. B. R. A. V. E. Also introduces youth to positive role models living with-in our community and offers recreational activities to encourage healthy passions.
