Mission: The Blackstone Heritage Corridor, Inc. (BHC) works with community partners to preserve and promote the Blackstone Valley's historic, cultural, natural, and recreational resources for current and future generations. BHC is comprised of 25 cities and towns, celebrating industrial history and immigration along the Blackstone River watershed. We partner with residents, local communities, organizations, and businesses to ensure the long term vitality of the corridor.

Programs: The Blackstone Heritage Corridor, Inc. (BHC) is a dynamic and successful nonprofit 501(C)(3) corporation. It is the successor of the former federal commission and the management entity for the Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor. BHC: is committed to the long term vitality of the region; partners with municipalities, nonprofits, businesses, and residents to restore, retain, and reinvigorate the Valley; coordinates volunteers to work on behalf o BHC and its partners, and facilitates a variety of programs and events to connect people to the National Heritage Corridor and its nationally significant resources. BHC works closely with the new Blackstone River Valley National Historical Park and provides services throughout the 25 towns of the Corridor to compliment the work of the Park through dynamic programs that support economic development and tourism; conservation; community planning and revitalization; and historical and environmental education and interpretation.
