Programs: Family and children services: baprc's division of family and children's services (fcs) houses the majority of the agency's employees and is where all of the screening, training, certifying and monitoring of families occurs. The three major services offered are adoption, fost/adopt and therapeutic foster care.
circle of care program is designed to augment and complement the existing continuum of services provided by east oakland community project's (eocp) a homeless shelter. The program specifically provides enhanced parenting support to their clients that are parenting children 0 to 5 years old. Baprc provides weekly parent education groups for homeless parents at essential sites operated by eocp. Baprc is funded by a first 5 alameda county grant initiative. The 120,000 grant began in july 2011 will end in june 2013.
