came with my wife from Georgia and did a cleanup. i just enjoyed walking the park while my wife maxine did the cleaning of the mangroves,. Marlene and Joey where very welcoming to both me and my wife and they invited us to lunch but couldnt make it. thanks for all you do.
I live in Georgia and was down for the weekend and wanted to do some volunteering so i called a few environmental companies and this Biscayne Bay Foundation told me where to meet them and went to a park called Kennedy which was in Coconut grove. beautiful park and those mangroves we cleaned very dirty. i brought a shirt that said biscayne bay foundation for a gift . they were nice shirts performance and helping them support there cause .
Had 5 friends from Guliver come out and do a cleanup. . Out of all the other foundations i find these people are really cool and easy to talk to . . going to try to plan about 20 kids from school to do a private cleanup .

i took my daughter to Kennedy Park where the Biscayne Bay Foundation had an event and we picked up tons of garbage . One thing about Joey and Marlene is they are super nice easy going and made it fun for the kids. and most kids hate picking up trash but my daughter wants to go again on Sunday. thanks for all you do.
We are from Lloyd Harbor, NY and we volunteered with Marlene helping to clean up Calle Ocho in Miami when we were on vacation in February 2022. It was a fantastic crew and a beautiful Sunday morning. My boys, ages 14 and 16 earned their volunteer hours.
Marlene inspired us to represent Biscayne Bay Foundation to clean up our local beach, West Neck Beach in Lloyd Harbor, NY.
We look forward to continuing to support the Biscayne Bay Foundation.

after the cleanup Marlene asked me to leave a review on great non profits. . she is really nice. and if she isn't sure she never guesses she will find out the answer and get back to me. when i call she gets back to me within 24 hours usually sooner. . I met her because my son needed service hours for school and she even came out last minute to have a small cleanup so he can get his hours. This is a foundation that deserves many donations because they go over and beyond .

today we did a walk over the Rickenbacker bridge in key Biscayne so we were able to see the beautiful Bay. Thank you Marlene and Jose for always coming up with different events all the time. makes it fun . glad we met and love going to your cleanups.
came on vacation from California and my daughter needed service hours so called the Biscayne Bay Foundation when no one else answers the phone. they not only answered but we went to the beach, picked up a ton of garbage and got the hours . Joey very intelligent great guy to talk to . They didnt have to come out the last minute but they did .
just made a big donation and love the work they do. . I know when im donating to the Biscayne Bay Foundation my money is being spent wisely. Had many meetings with jose Godoy and he is very knowledgeable and loves what he does and has some great ideas. . If anyone has a chance schedule a meeting and guaranteed you will learn a lot.

This is a great non-profit. Local people giving back to the community by helping to clean up our hometown waterways. I’ve done several clean ups with BBF where we went diving to pick up pounds of discarded rope, plastic and other trash that endanger our oceans and wildlife.
Biscayne Bay foundation is a great non profit organization helping the environment. I recently volunteered to help with their efforts to clean the waterways from debris left by careless boaters . The dedication of the many volunteers and the founders of the organization was amazing . They love Florida their country and want to keep our environment clean and safe for the aquatic creatures and people who share our beautiful waterways . Happy to help

Ive been supporting The Biscayne Bay Foundation since they first started in 2014. They dont need a ton of people to help them cleanup. if its just Jose &Marlene they will go and clean up them selves. My nieces and nephews helped them out for service hours. and they said it was not only work but they made it fun for them . Thank you for all you do
Biscayne Bay has been an amazing organization to keeping our community clean here in Southern Florida. We appreciate all of the hard work they put forward and the spirit they have to keep the waterways clean for everyone to enjoy. Has been a real pleasure being a part of their mission and look forward to many more years of environmental cleanup here in Miami-Dade. came out with some friends on Sunday. I felt bad because the boat joey and marleen use for the cleanup got a little messed up . THE BOATT fell off the trailer. but had a great day. weather was a little rainy but cleared up. awesome day 5 starrrrrrrrs

great day thought we were going to go for a joy ride lol then Joey said no joy ride your picking up garbage in the water. was awesome. beautiful day amazing you never think of so much garbage. i put on my snorkeling gear and picked up rope, fishing lines. plastic bottles . learned a lot joey is knowledgeable and funny at the same time.
great organization, called last minute because i was bored nothing to do and felt like doing something positive so google foundations clean up in miami and biscayne bay foundation came up. great people. learned a lot
My son needed service hours and i called Joey and he went out of his way and met me and even though there was no one else he gave my son his hours. thought that was really sweet. .
helped with cleanup a few times for service hours and they took us on there boat and showed up the bay and all the islands and gave us a biscayne bay foundation shirt.

i work for publix and we were supposed to have a big cleanup with 150 people which was cancelled due to covid 19 but i called 5 months later to see if i can get my daughter to do volunteer hours. and had a great day . they took us to boca chita . never been there did a cleanup . joey and Marlene showed us the island and all the trash. took us for a beautiful tour of the bay and Joey is really knowledgeable. . never expected all that was it was a great experience and my son wants to go again
they goes from coral springs to car sound road picking up trash. unbelivable. Joey takes his wife Marlene on a date night to go clean trash. got to love him lolol. you guys are the best thanks for taking me out

I am presently attending FAU and needed to do a project working for a foundation. I was giving a list and I picked biscayne bay foundation. I had the best time. Got to see a beautiful island where we picked up all the trash. In the water.marlene and Joey made me feel so comfortable and they were very nice.
I’ve always been an environmentalist and enjoyed beautifying our waterways no matter where it is. Appreciate all the hard work the biscayne bay foundation has done. And we helped a few times and the first time was on earth day.

This foundation takes pride in all they do for Biscayne Bay and other Bay areas. The people running it and volunteer for this foundation our hard workers, friendly and a honest bunch. They are always well orgainzed and ready to work when ever you need them. I recommend this foundation to anyone and will always be there to support them. Keep up the great work.

Jose, Marlene and their daughter Madison (I call them the crusaders against trash in the everglades). They are a great team with an extremely worthwhile cause ~ our food chain starts with clean water. It effects everyone's lives by way of the fish we eat/the water we drink. If everyone would help the environment like Jose does.. it would be a better world. Jose 's organization Biscayne Bay Foundation is the foundation of what makes America great! We need more people like him in this world.... I salute him and his family for the excellent work they are doing!

Esta organización es muy buena y ayuda mucho al medio ambiente.
Es importante tener limpieza en la bahía y Joey y su equipo trabajan muy fuerte para mantener limpia la bahía y así salvar animales y quitar la basura de la orilla de la bahía. Hay gente que tira basura al agua y deberían saber que ésto no está bien. HAY QUE EDUCAR A LA GENTE QUE TIRA BASURA....Mientras tanto Joey y se grupo de voluntarios sigue limpiando y recogiendo basura....

It is with great pride and without hesitation that I can say that this company is amazing. Biscayne Bay Foundation not only does a great job with the waterways of Florida, but they also do this with incredible heart. I got to take part in a clean up and am thoroughly moved by the sincerity of the team. Cleaning up the waterways is what they do and want to continue doing. I will continue to support their efforts as their contributions are just beginning.

Awesome working with Biscayne Bay foundation. Jose is a humorous guy never know what he will come up with.
Helped clean up An old abandoned boat that was left on the island.. took about an hour but we managed to get all the sand out of abandoned boat and was stuck in ground so we needed to shovel it out.
I live on my boat at the marina and Joey comes and works on his boat sometimes a t 1 in the morning. he is also very helpful when I need something for my boat. he will go and get it for me. . we need more people like this in the world. whenever I need help ii just call joey and he will make time to come help me out even if its midnight. . He always brings a net so he can pick up all the garbage as well. good neighbor on the water
great organization. great people. they clean up the park where I go running . I see them at least 2 days a week.
MY company gave 1500 dollars to the Biscayne Bay Foundation and they are an amazing organization unlike other organization. They do exactly what they say they are going to do. My son who lives in South Carolina has been stuggling for years so I like helping people in need. If anyone is looking to donate to a great cause I highly suggest the Biscayne Bay Foundation.
