Mission: Mission Statement for Birthmom Buddies (BMB): Birthmom Buddies is committed to advocating for the rights and well-being of birth mothers nationwide in a legal and ethically sound manner. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support, resources, and empowerment to birth mothers throughout their post-adoption journey. We strive to challenge societal perceptions, promote understanding, and create a supportive community that embraces the strength, love, and resilience of all birth mothers. Programs for Birthmom Buddies (BMB): 1. Emotional Support: We offer confidential and supportive emotional services, including peer support groups, licensed counseling, and mentorship programs for birth mothers. These services prioritize confidentiality, consent, and the well-being of participants, following legal and ethical guidelines to provide a safe and inclusive space for birth mothers to share their experiences, seek guidance, and connect with others. 2. Financial Assistance: BMB provides financial assistance to birth mothers facing genuine financial difficulties post-adoption, in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines. This may include access to emergency funds, scholarships for education or vocational training, and assistance programs for housing or utility bills. Our financial assistance processes prioritize fairness, transparency, and accountability. 3. Advocacy and Education: We engage in responsible advocacy efforts to address legal and societal challenges faced by birth mothers. Through respectful dialogue, policy awareness, and collaboration with relevant stakeholders, we seek positive change while adhering to legal frameworks and ethical considerations. Our educational resources and workshops focus on providing birth mothers with accurate, non-coercive information about their legal rights, self-care, parenting, and life planning options post-adoption.
