Sadly the actual model for this "non profit" place is money not youth, is to do paper work right which is the reason to show and get paid. Youth do not matter, that is why many of them comeback and know their way very well. Anyone is good at politics should love to work here, since they will have chance to be stock in office or take care of their own personal business instead of really taking care of "youths". I feel bad for parents having no Idea what is going on, but thinking they are getting help. Supervision is a must have by Law for minors, and it not to be seen in this place, since all staff are busy with getting the paperwork done right in office not to lose their jobs.
Review from Guidestar
Volunteering for the Bill Wilson Center's Contact Cares program has been enriching in very unexpected ways. I've learned to be a better listener, to be more compassionate, and in doing so have helped our callers to cope in a small but significant way. The staff is always warm and friendly and always thankful for my volunteering. Overall it's been a very very rewarding experience.
