I am one of the co-founders of Bikes for Kids Foundation, along with my wife Debbie and Meadowlark Lemon, the 20+ year star of the Harlem Globetrotters. Since 2002, we have given away over 92,000 new bicycles to underserved children in mostly the Southern California and North Carolina area. We now serve 16 different cities around the country, concentrating on 3rd grade children. We do much much more than give away free bicycles. We help change lives. We work with teachers in the classroom, have multiple books that we've written and are used in classrooms to help children develop dreams, among other things. We truly believe that we are making a difference and we have many success stories of kids who were recipients of our bikes, who came from difficult situations, who are now successful in life. We work with many professional sports teams and NASCAR stars and have been recognized for our work on the Today Show
