I’ve attended several events organized by BikeDFW, and I can’t say enough how amazing they are! Informative, approachable, and overall a real benefit to the cycling community!
This is a great organization, I enjoy volunteering with them when I get the opportunity! From the Light It Up program at Critical Mass to talking to city council members, they are doing such needed and important work.
Worked at a concert with the organization, got to see the effect it can have on the community and love working with them!
The cycling public can always count on BikeDFW being there. They support large and small events, some with funding, others without a penny. They walk the talk. From training of beginners to training cycling instructors. And being a fabulous presence at events such as Critical Mass where they give out free lights and information.... The list goes on and on. You can count on them to support your small time bike shop, to bigger folks with links to the community. They are not only cycling advocates, they are cyclists advocates. Because people matter to them. Thank you BikeDFW for all you do.
BikeDFW is great! Not only are they out in the community supporting other bike groups, they care about the city and improving cycling for all. We all love biking and the wonderful feeling of bliss that comes with a glorious ride. So it's nice that places like BikeDFW exist to enhance this feeling. And if you're like me, you'll be preaching vehemently about BikeDFW to all friends and enemies.
When I first moved to Dallas, the city seemed daunting to get around by bike. Over the years the city has grown thanks to the effort of groups like BikeDFW. From Learn To Ride classes to local and national advocacy efforts, BikeDFW continues to make its mark on fostering a safer city for cycling of all kinds. The team of volunteers that support this organization are a joy and are very much appreciated.
Transforming DFW's streets from one giant freeway into a safe place to cycle is a huge challenge, but BikeDFW are addressing it head on. They not only help adults and children learn to ride on the roads safely, but they also work with local communities and municipalities to help improve standards for cyclists and all non-motorized road users. DFW have a group of deeply passionate volunteers who dedicate so much of their time to making Dallas a safer and more pleasant place to travel around.
BikeDFW has the best group of volunteers I've ever worked with. They give their time and expertise to help make cycling better and safer for everyone in the Dallas, Fort Worth area
In a region once considered one of the least bike friendly, BikeDFW has played a part in making it better. Being a part of an organization that is providing education & support to the cycling community in the region and seeing the shift take place has been amazing. Bikedfw’s impact on the community includes teaching adults how to ride, teaching safety to youth, engaging with the community to offer resources, and working with city, county and state governments to increase the infrastructure needed for more people to feel safe and comfortable choosing a bike as their mode of transportation.
