Programs: Conducted best foot forward (bff) crosswalk safety program in the city of orlando and orange county. Bff partnered with the orlando police department and the orange county sheriff's office to organize 510 high- visibility enforcement operations, handing out more than 250 warnings and 150 citations to drivers. Since bff launched in 2012, a combination of enforcement, low-cost engineering improvements and education has increased driver yield rates from 12% to 45% on roads 35 mph and lower and from 1. 2% to 25% on roads 40 mph and higher.
