I was around 58 when my thumb started giving me problems. As time passed i had other symptoms; hand tremors, restless sleep, muscle weakness, cognitive decline, loss of vision in an eye. At 60 i was diagnose of Multiple Sclerosis, i was on Avonex for two years, they helped alot but not for long. As the disease progressed my symptoms worsened, with my neurologist guidance i started on natural alternative Multiple Sclerosis treatment from H.H.C. (Health Herbs Cliic), the treatment worked very effectively, my severe symptoms simply vanished, i feel better now than I have ever felt and i can feel my strength again. Visit ww w. healthherbsclinic. c om. My neurologist was very open when looking at alternative medicines and procedures, this alternative MS treatment is a breakthrough. always thankful for nature that helps in managing these terrible diseases. Hope this will help somebody
I was diagnosed in 1996, before symptoms started. I am a pianist, suddenly unable to open my hands wide enough to get 8 keys. Nobody in my family had MS, nor my grandparents. Last year a cousin younger than me had MS, she is 40. I have primary progressive MS. I do not walk for the last 18 years, I was born in 1962. I have had 6 strokes and 1 heart attack. The Rebif (beta-1a) did very little to help me. The medical team did even less. After roughly five unending years of trauma in the family my MS developed into progressive. There have been many changes in the last 3 to 4 years. Many falls, many fractured bones, and three moves all in five years. I have gone downhill. Considerably. We tried every shot available but nothing was working. There has been little if any progress in finding a reliable treatment for Multiple Sclerosis, My care provider Dr Miller introduced me to Kycuyu Health Clinic & their MS herbal treatment. The treatment is a miracle! I Adhere anyone reading this to try natural approach. visit www. kycuyuhealthclinic . c o m
Bike the US for MS organizes cross country bike trips that raise awareness for Multiple Sclerosis research & volunteer for MS patients. These tours follow America's most traveled cross country routes and combine an important cause with an incredible experience.
This group was founded by the director, Don Fraser, because his mother has MS and he loves touring by bicycle. In 2007, Don and 3 friends rode across country heading East from Seattle Washington to Bar Harbor Maine. Don built a website and the four cyclists raised over $20,000 with help from a few friends. In 2009, Don led another group from Virginia to Oregon, raising over $25,000. I became involved in 2010 as a route-leader on the Trans-America bicycle trail and later became a board member. In 2010 we raised over $100,000.
For now, the group is run almost entirely on volunteer hours, only purchasing equipment for the rides as needed to keep overhead low. We have donated money for MS research at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston and to support a nurse practitioner's position at the James Q. Miller MS clinic in Charlottesville, VA. We also do service projects along the cross-country routes like yard work and paying for home modifications such as handicap ramps, and handicap bathroom renovations.
